Jordan Jeter Captain - Black / White / Metallic Silver

There hasn’t been much talk about Jordan Brand’s Jeter line; nonetheless, Derek Jeter’s signature JB line is still going with its latest release: the Jordan Jeter Captain, in black/white/metallic silver. The trainer shoe features a black leather and synthetic leather upper contrasted by a black and white midsole and sole. The upper styles a white pinstripe pattern to give that baseball uniform look, and of course, the Jordan symbol is found on the side to let baseball fans know how JB does. These trainer’s go for $110 on Footlocker.

With the success of both the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 2 Doernbecher, Jordan Brand and Nike are getting the new Doernbecher set. This is not 100% confirmed as of yet, but we will keep you posted.

Air Jordan 1 60+ Pack - Chicago vs. Boston

On April 20th 1986, Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls met with the Boston Celtics in game 2 of the 1986 playoffs. Larry Bird described MJ after the game; “It was God disguised as Michael Jordan”, after (Jordan) scored 63 points. Sadly, the Bulls came up short, and lost the game to the Celtics in double overtime. To accommodate this NBA pastime, Jordan Brand will release the Air Jordan 1 60+ Pack.

Two pairs of Air Jordan 1s are in the pack, one representing Michael Jordan and the Bulls, and the other: Boston Celtics. The Air Jordan 1 60+ Pack Chicago Bulls contain the legendary Black / Red color scheme, while the Boston Celtics Air Jordan 1 60+ Pack utilizes Green / Black - White. Release date is scheduled for July 1st 2009, and our good friends at Wellgosh will have a full size run.

Jordan 60+ Laney High School

We’ve seen Jordan Brand make new models based on the influence of the numbered Jordan’s, but this is definitely taking it far with the Jordan 60+ Laney High School colorway. JB hooked the shoe up for Oak Hill Academy as well. The shoe has a white leather and patent leather upper which is reminiscent of the Air Jordan II (2), and takes after the midsole, tongue, and ankle of the Air Jordan V (5). “23″ is featured on the back heel and the classic Jordan wings sign is on the tongue, which is also influenced by the Air Jordan VII (7). All in all, these are quite the mash-up, and Laney High is lucky to be supported by JB. Continue »

Air Jordan Element - White / Black - Red

At the end of last month, we provided a preview of the Air Jordan Element Quai54 Edition, and we now have another colorway of the Element to share. This time around, the sneaker appears to host a general release colorway which is composed of white, red, and black. The white leather upper of this AJ Element is accented by the black patent leather, a blue translucent sole, a red midsole stripe, and a red Jumpman logo. Though retro Air Jordans are extremely popular these days, Jordan Brand does not fail to provide their avid enthusiasts with quality basketball sneakers that function well on the court while looking great off the courts. There is no scheduled release date as of yet for this sneaker, so stay tuned for updates.

Air Jordan I (1) ‘09 Preview

Air Jordan I (1) '09 Preview

Jordan Brand has given a preview of some of the shoes that it has coming out for 2009. During a private preview Jordan Brand showed a slew of unique Air Jordan 1s in both high top and low top form.

The high top Air Jordan I (1) shown are two versions. The first is an all black version made of leather with red laces, sole, and a large red Nike Swoosh, which seems to be made out of a felt material giving it a fuzzy look. The shoe has yellow stitching that really complements the black and red and brings the shoe together yet still keeps it looking fresh. The next AJ1 is also the high top form, but reverts back to more conservative colors, which are gray and black. The shoe is an equal combination of black and gray, but the gray is more creased giving it that worn-in/retro look.

The low top AJ1s shown are two versions all of which have polka dots. The first is predominately black with yellow polka dots, while the second one is predominately white with green polka dots. So if your looking to get your polka dots on this year then Jordan Brand has you covered. Be on the look out for these to drop soon.

Release Reminder: April 11, 2009

Though there are only three Air Jordan sneakers releasing this weekend, all three are definitely worth checking out. The first sneaker releasing on Saturday, April, 11, 2009, is the “Hare” Air Jordan I (1) which many sneakerheads have been looking forward to for a while now. The Air Jordan Fusion IX (9) series will also debut this weekend in two new styles. The first pair of the Air Jordan Fusion 9 that will release tomorrow is quite fitting for the occasion due to the fact that the University of North Carolina won the NCAA Championship only a couple days ago, and this pair is modeled after UNC’s team colors. The second AJF9 is one we have not seen too many previews of, but its white upper with varsity red and black accents proves to be quite an attractive color scheme. Both colorways of the AJF9 will drop for $160, whereas the retail price for the “Hare” Air Jordan 1 is $120. Check out detailed pictures and the tech information for each pair after the jump.
