Last month, the 10th Annual Jim Calhoun Charity All-Star Basketball Game was held in the Mohegan Sun Arena Former. The star studded event included past and present UConn players including Travis Knight, Ray Allen, Emeka Okafor, Ben Gordon, Rip Hamilton, Caron Butler, Kevin Ollie, Donyell Marshall, Khalid El-Amin, Doron Sheffer, Ricky Moore, Charlie Villanueva, and Rudy Gay. The charity game was founded by Jim Calhoun to benefit the UConn Foundation, Inc.’s Jim and Pat Calhoun Cardiology Research Endowment Fund for the UConn Health Center.
With that said, Ray Allen was seen sporting a special make-up of the Air Jordan XX3, a Player Exclusive with the words “Sugar Ray” embroidered at the heel. Furthermore, a Boston Celtics color-way of simply white and green finish off the XX3. A detailed view can be seen after the jump. Via The Resident/Kenlu.

Nike Air Force 1 - Pre-Fusion Air Jordan XX Inspired Sample

Pictured above is an early sample of the Air Jordan XX, fused with a Nike Air Force 1. These sneakers were handed down by Michael Jordan to his son, Marcus Jordan. Marcus reports on his blog that the Fusion samples were inspired by the Air Jordan XX, evident at the mid and strap. These are a prototype for the Fusion line, which Marcus wore before “Big Mike” wanted to do Jordan Fusions. A similarly designed colorway will release in November. Via Marcus Jordan.

Air Jordan 1 Phat Low | Air Jordan PHLY Legend Premier
3 October 2008

Two new interesting Air Jordan models have just surfaced the internet, the Air Jordan 1 Phat Low and PHYL Legend Premier. The Air Jordan 1 Phat Low consists of a black and white polka dot combination, a concept similar to the Hiroshi Fujiwara Dunks that were released a few years ago, but this sneaker is modified for skateboarding, padding has been added to the tongue and inner lining.
Lastly, the Air Jordan PHLY seen after the jump is a step above the previously released, PHYL models. It has been rumored that these have been designed to honor Yankees or Jordan Brand athlete, Derek Jeter, hence the pinstripe and navy combination. Release date for both has yet to be announced. Big thanks to jasonwhite9.

Air Jordan Force Fusion XX (20) Low - White / Gold
3 October 2008

Not appearing in the Winter ‘08 of the Air Jordan Force Fusion XX (20) collection, the latest has a little bit more flare than the previous seen upcoming models. Consisting of a white and gold combination, other detailing includes a Air Jordan XX (20) inspired model and checkered board design on the mid-sole. This particular Air Jordan Force Fusion XX (20) Low seems a little less untraditional, but may be what Air Jordan and Air Force 1 fans are looking for. Via Fat Boy Shoes.

Kevin Martin Signs With Jordan Brand
3 October 2008

Averaging more than 20+ points a game, 2+ assists per game and 4+ rebounds per game over the last two years, Kevin Martin has caught the eyes of Jordan Brand for his outstanding performance and making a name for himself in Sacramento over the past few years. However, Martin isn’t the first King to make its way into the Jordan Brand, Mike Bibby was a regular with Air Jordan PE a few years back, but Martin looks to bring back the purple, white and black as he is a new face in the Jordan Brand world.
