16 September 2008

After a slew of Air Jordan 1 Low Phat that are set to be released this Winter, we get a look at a model not seen in the collection. This model consists of white, cement grey, and varsity red, a similar combination seen in a previous post involving its black counter part.
We mentioned earlier that the Air Jordan 1 Low Phat has been created to cater to the needs of skateboarders, a different path Air Jordan has gone on. New modifications include a padded tongue and inner lining. More info to come, stay posted. Via Nike Talk.

Only a few days ago, the Air Jordan XX3 (23) Jordan Motorsport Limited Edition model was reported to be available at Marquee Sole. However, we there were only a few shots providing a limited look at the XX3. Here’s a better look which showcases the black/varsity royal/white color-way, regarded as one of the more Air Jordan friendly make-ups of the XX3. Official release is scheduled for November 28th, but VMV.inc has select sizes available now.

Air Jordan Countdown Pack 22 / 1 Retro
16 September 2008

From one Air Jordan Countdown Pack to another, we get a look at the soon to be released pack which features the Air Jordan I (1) and Air Jordan XX2 (22). Both include a black/white composition which is rather simple. The most noticeable thing about this pack is the disappearance of traditional Chicago Bulls red. However, this pack seems to be more nostalgic as it offers the model that started it all and a model that was released before the XX3. Release is scheduled for September 25th, 2008 at select Air Jordan accounts. Via hb.

Air Jordan Force Fusion XX (20) Low - Winter ‘08 Collection
16 September 2008

After previewing an upcoming collection of Air Jordan Force Fusion XX (20) Mid, we get a look at its counterpart, a low top sneaker which will also be released in several forms. Releasing on October 11th, the white/metallic silver/navy, white/metallic silver/varsity red and black/light graphite/white will be available to Fusion fans for the retail price of $135, a little cheaper than the mid version. The low top is similar to the mid top, but strap-less design may be the deciding factor for these sneakers as they do a look a little more casual and subtle.

Air Jordan 1 Low Phat - Winter 2008 Collection
12 September 2008

With the majority of the focus being directed toward the Countdown Package and Retro models, Jordan Brand initiates a collection of Air Jordan 1 Low Phat to pay homage to the history of the Air Jordan 1 and skateboarding. Modified to fit the growing skateboarding scene, the Air Jordan 1 Low Phat consists of padding on the inside of the sneaker and on the tongue, much like Nike’s Skateboarding line of sneakers.
For those who aren’t familiar with the correlation of the Air Jordan 1 and skateboarding, at one point in time it was the sneaker of choice due to the lack of skateboarding sneakers. However, it has come a long way since then and traces back to one of its originally uses through a collection of sneakers ranging from original Air Jordan inspired color-ways to college based models including Georgetown, a similar design seen on the Air Jordan XV earlier this year.
