Air Jordan 2009 (2K9) 24 First Look

Earlier than expected, the Air Jordan 2009, or Air Jordan 2K9 or Air Jordan 24 has landed. Although a shock to many, at this first look we do not see a Jumpman logo, but this picture is not the best. On another note, the Air Jordan 2009 (2K9 or 24) pictured quite possibly be an early sample. Either way, this is kind of what we can expect. Expected release date is Febuaray 2009. Air Jordan I (1) Basket Edition

Providing a different style for Easter 2009, Jordan Brand will be releasing the Basket Edition pack which consists of the Air Jordan I (1) High and Low Strap. Each style is made p of a simple white on white colorway with a gumsole. In addition, both feature a woven design at the mid-section and toebox of the sneakers, tying in the Easter theme. This years release yielded the Air Jordan I (1) Low with a very Easter-like color scheme, but next years drop looks more promising so keep your eyes peeled when they drop next April. First Look: Air Jordan Jumpman Elite 2009

Jordan Brand’s athletes are always sporting the most stylish and advanced sneakers regardless at what level they are playing. The Air Jordan Jumpman Elite 2009 is projected to be seen on most of Jordan Brand sponsored athletes in this 2008-2009 season. This pair will not only be seen on the feet of Jordan sponsored athletes, but also on athletes playing for Jordan Brand’s sponsored universities such as North Carolina and Georgetown. With the use of a full leather upper with black and red accents which can be seen on the tongue, heel, and midsole, this Air Jordan team model will surely yield many interesting colorways in the future. One of the most interesting aspects of this sneaker is the patent leather midsole which may remind many sneakerheads of the most popular Air Jordan model ever, the Air Jordan XI (11). Air Jordan Six Rings Portland Trailblazers In Detail

With news of the Portland Trailblazer edition of the Air Jordan Six Rings breaking just a few days ago, it was only a matter of time till detailed photos would surface. As mentioned before, this model will be releasing under the Championship Pack along with the Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns, Seattle Supersonics, and the Utah Jazz. This model pays tribute to the defeat of the Portland squad with detailing at the sides of the sneakers and a white, black, red and grey colorway. Air Jordan I (1) High GS - White / Metallic Silver - Pale Blue

This month has seen the release of several different styles of the Air Jordan I (1) however this model is exclusive to grade school sizes. Featuring a more basic colorway, the Air Jordan I High is hit with a white base and metallic silver and pale blue accents. The majority of the sneaker is white, but subtle treatments of metallic silver and pale blue make this model stand out. Finishing this high-top is an icy sole, an added bonus to a solid design. Air Jordan XX3 (23) - Chris Paul “Away” PE

In just a few seasons, Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets has gone from a lightning fast rookie to a NBA superstar. During his short career, Paul has experienced more than some players do in an entire career including having to leave New Orleans because of Hurricane Katrina. Subsequently, the New Orleans Hornets moved to Oklahoma City and Paul began a new chapter to his career. Upon returning to New Orleans, the Hornets have experienced great success. On November 21, 2008, Chris Paul led his Hornets back into Oklahoma City to face the Thunder. In that game, Paul wore this pair of Air Jordan XX3 (23) PEs that is now being auctioned off on ebay by the CP3 Foundation. This player exclusive features a black upper with light blue accents, topped off with a CP3 logo on the ankle support. This pair is not only game worn, but also autographed by Chris Paul himself. Chris Paul is not only one of the elite point guards in the NBA, he is also one of the few players that keeps a fresh sneaker game on and off the courts. A couple days ago, the New Orleans Hornets faced off against the Sacramento Kings at the New Orleans Arena. After warm-ups were completed and the players had taken the court, many at home stared at their TV screens in awe at what Chris Paul was wearing. Though seeing Chris Paul in a pair of Jordan Player exclusives is not something new, we have yet to see anybody in the NBA wear a colorway of the Jordan XX3 that can be compared to these. Featuring a white upper with carolina blue accents, this colorway is on point when it comes to matching them with the New Orleans Hornets’ jerseys. This pair was created solely for Chris Paul and will not be releasing to the public.
Air Jordan Melo M5 - Denver Nuggets

For those who you who were watching the Denver Nuggets battle the Los Angeles Lakers, you may have caught a glimpse of Carmelo Anthony sporting his new Air Jordan Melo M5 in a Denver Nuggets colorway. This model is designed to match the team’s colors and are made up of a white base with blue panels and gold accents. No word on whether these are a player exclusive made just for Carmelo or if they ever will hit store shelves, but we will keep you guys posted. Via Yahoo.
Air Jordan Force Fusion 6 (VI) - White / Black - Electro Lime

With the newest pictures of the Air Jordan 11/12 Countdown Pack still fresh in most of our minds, we are now seeing previews of an Air Jordan Fusion VI (6) with a very “unique” colorway. Featuring a bright white upper with a black duraback material wrapping around the heel, this colorway seems to be pretty conservative in regard to the main colors. The accent color on this pair is a whole different story. In order to spice up this colorway, Jordan Brand uses a bright neon color, which is referred to as “elctro lime”, as the accent color. The electro lime can clearly be seen on the midsole stitching and the Jumpman on the tongue. Including a black midsole and white outsole, this colorway surely makes the most it can out of three colors. Expect these to drop in February 2009 for a retail price of $160. Via Sole-Locker

Release Reminder: Air Jordan I (1) Retro High Strap

Tomorrow will see a few key releases from the Jordan Brand and has made it hard to choose between them. The Air Jordan I (1) Retro High Strap will finally be hitting store shelves after weeks of anticipation. The strapped version is available in three colorways, the classic “Bred” black/varsity red/white, white/black/varsity red and black/white. Perhaps the more sought after Air Jordan I (1) Retro High Strap, the first style pictured will be limited and won’t be as easy to get as the other two. Good luck to those following the release, they will be available on Saturday, November 22nd at Proper and other retailers.
