Air Jordan 2009 (2K9) Available Early

The Air Jordan 2009 has been making huge sneaker news since rumors of its conception dropped early last year. The time has almost come for the AJ 2009 to released and it has now started popping up at online retailers. There is an exclusive limited release of the Air Jordan 2009 scheduled for January 31, 2009 with a suggested retail price of $230 and a nationwide release on February 14, 2009 with a suggested retail price of $190. The latter of those two releases has appeared on an online retailer for $15 less than retail price. It is not looking too good for Jordan Brand with this release considering that a full-size run is still available in the sneaker even after it is being sold for under the suggested retail price. You can wait until next month to cop your pair at an Air Jordan retailer near you or pick up your pair right now at PYS.

Air Jordan VI (6) Retro - Black / Infrared Sample

29 January 2009

Air Jordan VI (6) Retro - Black / Infrared Sample

Back in 2000 before the Air Jordan 6 (VI) Retro - Black/Deep Infrared was released, many sneakerheads may remember that a sample image was seen which depicted certain midsole parts of the sneaker as infrared instead of black. This little deviation from the original sneaker had collectors going crazy and throwing fits. Jordan Brand recognized what the consumers wanted and eventually ended up releasing a product more in line with the Original Air Jordan 6 Infrared. Though at that time the sample was seen as nothing special, it is now available on the ‘Bay for a current bid of over $5,000.

Air Jordan I (1) Low Phat - Suns - Championship Pack

29 January 2009

Air Jordan I (1) Low Phat - Suns - Championship Pack

Earlier today, we featured the Air Jordan I (1) Low Phat - Lakers which is a pack composed of two pairs of the AJ1 Low Phat. We now have pictures of a new Air Jordan Championship pack, but this time the inspiration behind it is another NBA team—the Phoenix Suns. Unlike the Air Jordan Countdown Packs released last year, these packs will sell each sneaker individually. The first of the two colorways features a black base with purple stitching and a white swoosh. The second pair yields a white upper accented by a silver swoosh and purple inner lining. Both pairs include orange midsoles and are obviously inspired by the Phoenix Suns’ jerseys. Expect both pairs to drop in the near future. Via UptempoAir.
