While the Air Jordan Fusion line has been met with a lot of polarized sentiment, Jordan Brand doesn’t seem ready to put a halt to it any time soon, (hate it or love it, JB’s on top). Though this shoe was available from several sources for an early purchase, as many shoes in general often are, many people seemed to either not think an early purchase was necessary/worth it or they simply did not like what they saw. Regardless, Jordan Brand remains on schedule with this release. The black/varsity red-white pair of the Air Jordan Fusion XIII pictured here will be officially releasing from Air Jordan retailers tomorrow, Saturday the 12th of December for a retail price tag of $145. We kicked this week off by reporting on an Air Jordan I retro high that is set to release at some point in 2010 as part of a celebration of 25 years of Air Jordans. And when Jordan Brand wants to do it big, it certainly knows how to. Now we’d like to bring you information regarding the packaging in which this retro AJ I will be enveloped. Pictured here are a number of briefcases, which will be in what this commemorative AJ I retro high is packaged. Similar to the briefcase that accompanied OG pairs of the AJ XVII, this briefcase comes in silver and promises to be bulky enough to protect your AJ Is from most scratches while you transport them from place to place. If the shoe itself isn’t attention-grabbing enough, then this complementary briefcase packaging should put them over the top. With a rumored release date of Spring 2010, stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

Chris Paul’s latest signature sneaker, the Air Jordan CP3.III, is on the move with the announcement of this new ‘Mardi Gras’ colorway. Featuring a predominantly white upper, the model is accented with hits of the Hornets’ team colors of teal, yellow, and purple. Perhaps the most interesting part of the sneaker is its subtle laser etched mid-panel (you’re going to have to take a closer look after the jump to see it), which demonstrates how far Nike’s etching has advanced since the days of the Dub Zero. Completed by a speckled purple midsole and yellow contrast stitching, the colorway certainly presents a unique combination of features. Slated for a Christmas Eve release, the model will be available at select Nike retailers like Foot Locker.

One of the newest silhouettes to make its way onto the Jordan Brand roster, the Air Jordan Classic ‘91, is releasing ahead of schedule, set to hit retailers before the year is out instead of in early 2010. This first model features a Chicago Bulls color scheme, and pays homage to Jordan’s first NBA Championship in the 1990-1991 season. Featuring the Air Jordan Wings logo, the sneakers appears to borrow some design elements from the AJIII for its tongue, and AJXII for its heel panel stitching. The model is now available to order from Kinetics, and is expected to make its domestic debut on December 19th.

Now we’re here to show you another pair sure to jog the memories of OG Jordan fans and remind us of the Air Jordan XII “Playoffs.” The Air Jordan PHLY pictured here borrows cues from the aforementioned AJ XII such as white towards the front bottom of the shoe, vector stitching, and the black upper. The Air Jordan 16.5 is already considered by many Jordan fans and SneakerFiles followers to be among the best- if not THE best- Air Jordan “.5″ hybrid model ever. With NBA superstars such as Dwyane Wade rocking the black/red pair several games already, this sneaker’s popularity is quickly rising. While we’ve recently seen a pair furnished especially for the UNC basketball team, the pair we show you today seems like it would be a great fit for Georgetown’s squad. But these are not made exclusively for the Hoyas. This pair does, however, remind us of that squad because of the subtle grey (patent leather heel, toe box and tongue) and very minimal navy blue accents (on the Jumpman and shoe lace eyelets) that accompany a white leather upper. The Air Jordan 16.5 colorway we showed you in October has finally made its way into store fronts. Fitted with a White/Black/Blue colorway, the model makes use of premium materials like white leather on its upper, a patent black toe cap, and black mesh midpanel. With hits of blue on the midsole, heel tab, and outsole, the predominantly black and white model is accented with just the right amount of color. Certainly one of the nicer Team Jordans we’ve seen a while, you can take a look at some detailed pictures after the jump. A new colorway has popped up for the Air Jordan Spizike Winter Boot, and it definitely stands out from its previous releases. The Air Jordan Spizike Winter Boot comes in a clean black/yellow colorway, using durable materials to really make this a rugged boot. The upper is decked out in black materials, including leather and rubber, to match the outsole, along with a clear translucent lacelock to change things up. Yet, the midsole is the talk of the town, as it sports a gradient effect from black to speckled yellow to match the speckled toe and heel panels. Finally, yellow is placed on the inner lining and inner tongue to nicely contrast the black. This winter boot is available now for about $155 online overseas.

We’ve all seen the Doernbecher Air Jordan VI, but now images of the rest of the collection, designed by those whose lives have been improved by the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Oregon, have hit  the web. This years line up includes inventive colorways of the Nike Air Max Zenyth, Shox NZ, Dunk High, Air Force 1, Zoom P-Rod III, and Air Jordan VI. Proceeds from the project are donated to the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, the models hitting Niketown and Nike.com on November 14th. Do yourself — and the patients of Doernbecher — a favor, and stay tuned for more detailed pictures as we get closer to the release.

To continue the Jordan Brand lifestyle run, JB has released the Jordan Blase Mid in a clean black/anthracite colorway. JB is definitely utilizing black in its colorways just as it did for the Jordan L’Style One. The Jordan Blase Mid features a black leather upper with a black design pattern. The upper also sports a leather strap where the Jordan logo is placed. The upper sits atop a black sole similar to a Dunk sole, making this a very dark yet clean shoe. These jays are set to release in October, but are available now on Sneakerhead for $110.
