Gilbert Arenas Laces Up “Taxi” Air Jordan Retro XII (12) Low
Written on 12 April 2011 by admin

Over the past weekend, the “Taxi” Air Jordan retro XII low made another retro drop. It appears as though Gilbert Arenas might have stopped by a participating Jordan Brand carrier because during yesterday’s exciting game, he was seen wearing his own pair. Although Dwight Howard was out serving another one-game suspension due to his accumulation of technical fouls, the Orlando Magic were able to make it an exciting matchup before Derrick Rose ultimately carried his Chicago Bulls to a three-point victory. Check out these in-game images of Gilbert in his “Taxis” after the jump.

Air Jordan 2011 Grey/Red/White – A Closer Look
Written on 12 April 2011 by admin

Just last week we caught our first few glimpses of a grey/red/white Air Jordan 2011 yet to release. Today we get a closer look at this colorway- which could be something that perhaps Houston Rockets fans can look forward to after a disappointing season. The grey mudguard offers up a shade of coloring not yet associated too much with the Air Jordan 2011 model. The rest of the upper that comes in red along with a barely spotted white outsole offer accenting colors that often go well with so much red. Take a closer look at this colorway via the images shown here, and let us know how you think this colorway ranks among the other Air Jordan 2011 colorways we’ve seen thus far.

We know that the two Air Jordan 2011 “Jordan Brand Classic” colorways recently unveiled will be dropping later this week. However, there seems to have been another colorway designed similar to the blue Jordan Brand Classic Air Jordan 2011. The pair pictured here comes in a tech grey/black-orion blue-chlorine colorway and still has no release date attached to it. But enjoy these images and let us know if you prefer this colorway to the slightly different Jordan Brand Classic pair or not.

Air Jordan 2011 – Wade “Home” PE
Written on 12 April 2011 by admin

With the recent, official unveiling of the Jordan Fly Wade, we suspect that said Air Jordan model will be Dwyane Wade’s basketball sneaker of choice for the coming playoffs. But in yesterday’s monster statement game against the Boston Celtics, the Miami Heat dominated with the help of Wade. Wade was, in turn, being helped by another white with red “home” PE of the Air Jordan 2011. Take a look at them after the jump; and, at least take solace in the fact that the Jordan 2011 is hitting Nike iD for your color-blocking pleasures.

Initially scheduled to make a February appearance, tomorrow, Saturday March 12th is when the black/dark charcoal Jordan 6 Rings actually drops from Jordan Brand retailers. With a “blackout” Air Jordan 2011 also on tap, Jordanheads may very well find themselves choosing between two “all-black-everything” team Jordans this Spring. But if it seems like you’re leaning towards the Jordan 6 Rings dropping tomorrow, know that they will run for $160 retail in adult sizes.
