A Look Back: Air Jordan Retro IV White/White-Chrome "No Mesh"
Recently, we’ve showed you some pictures of classic retros such as the Air Jordan retro V “Laney” that several Jordanheads are still hoping and praying will see another retro release SOON. And today we bring you a look at another Air Jordan retro release from 2000. The white/white-chrome Air Jordan retro IV pictured here from 2000 is unlike the other white/white-chrome Air Jordan IVs we’ve seen released because it actually contains no mesh area along the upper. Take a closer look, and you’ll see that the mesh windows we’ve come accustomed to with the Air Jordan IV is missing here. Would you like to see THESE come back?

Skull Candy x Air Jordan 2011 & Retro III (3) Headphone Packs
Of course, the “white cement” Air Jordan III was retroed, and it released once again towards the end of last month. This month, during All Star Game weekend, marks the introduction of the Air Jordan 2011. Well, to mark the occasion, Jordan Brand has teamed up with Skull Candy to develop “aviator” headphones that match both the red and the blue interchangeable insoles that come with the Air Jordan 2011. Moreover, another pair of headphones was designed to match the cement print seen along the upper of the aforementioned Air Jordan III. Each of the two different packs will be available for purchase in very limited quantities at the going rate of $500 each, but only from the Westfield Culver City Footaction location in southern California starting TOMORROW morning. Doors there open at 10AM, but a line is SURE to start forming much earlier than that. Good luck to all!

Happy Birthday Michael Jordan

Written on 20 February 2011 by

We would like to take a moment to wish Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player of all time, a happy birthday.

Its truly astonishing to be able to have witnessed true greatness on the basketball court. Yes, there were many NBA greats before him and there will be many more to follow… but when you think of the game of basketball (and even sneakers) the first thing that enters your mind is ‘Air Jordan’.

Not only was he a huge influence to many who share the love for the game, but he is also the reason many of us are here right now; checking sneaker blogs, camping out in front of retail stores come hell or high water, roaming eBay for our holy grail or just sitting on the couch watching NBA Gametime with that fresh new pair sitting on your lap enjoying the sweet victory of adding just one more pair to the lineup. From the moment they were ‘Banned’ to the second they first sold out, we do it all because of him.

Happy 48th MJ!

Share your stories of your most memorable MJ moment, whether its an on court memory or sneaker shopping adventure, let us know how influential the G.O.A.T. has been in your life.

Air Jordan VII (7) GS White/ Neutral Grey/ Mineral Blue/ Bright Violet – New Images

Here are some new detailed images of the Air Jordan Retro VII (7) GS that will be available next month. Sharing a slight resemblance to the ‘Hare’ Jordan VII (7), with its materials and color blocking, yet throwing in some fresh new colors ready for the Spring/ Summer seasons. Only one question comes to mind with this release… why can’t Jordan Brand make these a women’s release so the guys can have a chance to grab a pair instead of making everything GS size?
