Skull Candy x Air Jordan 2011 & Retro III (3) Headphone Packs
Written on 20 February 2011 by admin

Of course, the “white cement” Air Jordan III was retroed, and it released once again towards the end of last month. This month, during All Star Game weekend, marks the introduction of the Air Jordan 2011. Well, to mark the occasion, Jordan Brand has teamed up with Skull Candy to develop “aviator” headphones that match both the red and the blue interchangeable insoles that come with the Air Jordan 2011. Moreover, another pair of headphones was designed to match the cement print seen along the upper of the aforementioned Air Jordan III. Each of the two different packs will be available for purchase in very limited quantities at the going rate of $500 each, but only from the Westfield Culver City Footaction location in southern California starting TOMORROW morning. Doors there open at 10AM, but a line is SURE to start forming much earlier than that. Good luck to all!

Happy Birthday Michael Jordan
Written on 20 February 2011 by admin

We would like to take a moment to wish Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player of all time, a happy birthday.
Its truly astonishing to be able to have witnessed true greatness on the basketball court. Yes, there were many NBA greats before him and there will be many more to follow… but when you think of the game of basketball (and even sneakers) the first thing that enters your mind is ‘Air Jordan’.
Not only was he a huge influence to many who share the love for the game, but he is also the reason many of us are here right now; checking sneaker blogs, camping out in front of retail stores come hell or high water, roaming eBay for our holy grail or just sitting on the couch watching NBA Gametime with that fresh new pair sitting on your lap enjoying the sweet victory of adding just one more pair to the lineup. From the moment they were ‘Banned’ to the second they first sold out, we do it all because of him.
Happy 48th MJ!
Share your stories of your most memorable MJ moment, whether its an on court memory or sneaker shopping adventure, let us know how influential the G.O.A.T. has been in your life.
Air Jordan VII (7) GS White/ Neutral Grey/ Mineral Blue/ Bright Violet – New Images
Written on 20 February 2011 by admin

Here are some new detailed images of the Air Jordan Retro VII (7) GS that will be available next month. Sharing a slight resemblance to the ‘Hare’ Jordan VII (7), with its materials and color blocking, yet throwing in some fresh new colors ready for the Spring/ Summer seasons. Only one question comes to mind with this release… why can’t Jordan Brand make these a women’s release so the guys can have a chance to grab a pair instead of making everything GS size?

Air Jordan Dub Zero – Black – Varsity Red – Light Graphite – Unreleased Samples
Written on 7 February 2011 by admin

The first Air Jordan hybrid designed was the Air Jordan Dub Zero, featuring a mix of the Air Jordans IV, VI, XI, XII, XIII, XV, XVII and XX. Originally dropped back in 2005 in five different colorways, then re-released in three new colorways in 2009. While only three colorways released in ’09, there was meant to be one more pair, but it later got scrapped. This Air Jordan Dub Zero in a black, varsity red and graphite colorway is a sample that unfortunately got scrapped, to never see a store self. But this very pair is available thanks to eBay seller pswhite9summer.
